Pregnancy is the perfect time to begin your mindful exploration of parenthood.
Many of the social shifts and internalized expectations around parenthood begin to emerge, and the biological shifts are undeniable.
We start to wonder:
What will my life look like when my baby arrives?
Why does everyone think it’s ok to tell me what to do with my baby and my body?
How will I balance my professional demands and ambitions once the baby arrives?
What is happening to my body?
How will I get through the pain of labor and delivery?
How will I know what my baby needs?
Why isn’t my partner as connected to the baby as I am?
But the beautiful thing is, with the last few moments of quiet, you also have the space to explore all these changes. It’s the perfect opportunity to thoughtfully prepare for postpartum and to set the tone for how you want to move through parenthood. To start deepening your understanding of child development and your own parallel evolution. To lean into the beginnings of the most awe-inspiring and transformative season of life.
